With more than 25 years in the insurance industry, Kristin blends leadership with personal client care, ensuring policies are tailored to meet both coverage needs and budget considerations. Her role spans everything from sales and renewals to researching new technologies that improve the client experience.
Kristin specializes in personal lines coverage, long-term care insurance, and life insurance. She focuses on customizing home, auto, and umbrella policies to fit each client’s unique needs, while also guiding families through long-term planning. Alongside Jerry Hicks, she is one of the only team members certified to sell long-term care insurance, making her an invaluable resource for clients planning for the future.
Before joining Hicks, Kristin managed Alzheimer’s care units, where she developed deep empathy for families facing life’s toughest decisions. In 2001, she transitioned into insurance and has been with Hicks ever since. Her healthcare background provides a unique advantage when advising clients on long-term care and Medicare-related concerns, while her decades of insurance experience make her a trusted leader in personal lines.
Kristin is known for helping clients find solutions when they feel like they’ve run out of options. Whether it’s guiding homeowners who were unexpectedly dropped by their carrier or educating families on ethical, effective ways to structure policies, Kristin prioritizes doing things the right way—even if it’s not the easiest path. For Kristin, the work is personal. Family is at the center of Kristin’s life. With two daughters—one in college and one still in high school—she stays busy traveling for soccer tournaments and spending time together at their Michigan lake house. She enjoys boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, and belongs to a book club where she dives into historical fiction and meaningful reads. Her lifestyle reflects her balance of family, fun, and continuous learning.
